I've tried the one at the economy rice stall @ Bali-Bali. Remember you took us there for dinner one day? That is different lah. That's just the chicken. I wanna try the dish with the 'mee suar', just like the one Lilian cooked and blogged about.

We can use your mom's recipe for the 'ang chiew chicken' and we can add our own mee suar and fungus (the black vegetable which I know you will not like but which Girlie and I will love!). Basically, what I am looking for is the EXACT dish that Lilian featured in her blog lah.

Today, I drove downtown in the hopes of locating the corner kopitiam at Burma Rd/Kedah Rd for the ang chiew mee suah as shared by Lilian but sad to say that the kopitiam has been closed down. I asked the shop next door and they said the kopitiam closed down end of last month and they have no idea where the stall selling the 'ang chiew mee suah' has moved to.

*sob sob*

Me been dying to try that dish! :(

Now will really have to rely on your mom's recipe to attempt cooking it at home.
