Heavier Luggage And A Light Wallet

That’s basically what I came home with from KL.

Em and I spent a bomb in the space of 2 hours on clothes.  We were giggling with glee over our loot and I couldn’t be happier with my purchases.  I’m sure I won’t be feeling the same thing when I see my credit card bill at the end of the month.

I finally found the military fatigue pants I’ve been searching for and now that my tighs are more toned, I got myself a pair of hot pants to show em’ off.

Nichii was the death of me.  There were so many selections there in terms of office wear and my favorite little black dress.  Em and I went into the dressing room with our arms full of clothes to try but were stopped by the girl guarding the room.  We were only allowed a maximum of 6 pieces of garments each to try so we had to leave the rest outside and come back to try them later.

Oh well, it was fun, all the same.  Since my credit card can’t afford to let me have all the clothes that I had picked out, I settled for a blouse and a pair of pants for the office, both of the corporate kind.  It’s been a while since I bought any kind of corporate clothes.

Now that I’m back, looks like I’ll need to reorganize my closet to fit in the new stuff.  Boss has given us Monday off, so I’m looking forward to the long rest to recharge my batteries.

It was a fun trip, but hectic all the same.

I’m Heeeerrrrreeeeee!!!!!!!

It’s a lazy morning during a work week and I’m sitting in a Starbucks opposite the majestic Time Square, miles away from home.  Boss is having a 2-day seminar in KL.

Arrived yesterday afternoon after a long drive.  I didn’t mind….it was a Mercedes Compressor :D

Tai Mai was supposed to come with us but since she couldn’t make it, I got the room to myself.  Em was good enough to get me a double bed so I can roll around to my heart’s content.

One thing about travelling with bosses who love to eat, my diet will have to be put on hold for the next few days.  They kept insisting on taking me to places where the portions are big, big enough for 3 people, I think.  Burp!

Oooooo!!!!  The lady in front of me is having some sort of cinnamon bun with oozing sugar!  Oh how heavenly.  I think I will go order the same thing later on, heheheheheh…..

It’s supposed to be a working day today, but I overslept anyway.  Was too tired already after coming back from supper.  It was at this Japanese restaurant behind our hotel.  In spite of it being a backlane area, it’s actually quite happening.  If I’m having trouble sleeping, I wouldn’t mind exploring these backlanes to see what’s going on.  Since I’m not a guy, nobody will be asking if I wanna get lucky tonight winky, winky :D

Had a nice warm bubble bath after coming back to the hotel.  It was so soothing, I almost fell asleep in the bathtub.

Was planning to work in my room today, but there was no internet connection.  Anyway, I had to get out of the room so that housekeeping can clean it and replenish the freebies.

Well, gotta get back to work now.  It’s a long day ahead still.  See you folks when I get back to Penang.

My First Crocs

I finally bought my first pair of Crocs.  These are the latest edition, made specially for the ladies.

Aren’t they just absolutely sweet?  They even come with butterflies as decoration.  Slipping my feet into them was like slipping on a pair of the softest cushions.  I will definitely be wearing them a lot.  They are light weight too.

The best part is, they are so easy to clean.  Just a wet cloth and the stains come right off.

Previously, mentioning getting Crocs will make my nose wrinkle.  I wasn’t very keen on the earlier designs.  They were big, bukly and just plain ol’ butt ugly.

Hey, asthetics come first for me before comfort :p  How else can one explain my fetish for 3 inch ice pick stilletos and shoes with pointy toes?

But this slimmer, more feminine design, I can live with.

Ace

An Uncle of mine came over during the weekend to introduce my new "nephew".

Just 3 months old, he’s an adorable little darling that follows people everywhere.

Ace   Ace2

Cute isn’t he?  Ha ha….his head looks like it was plugged into his body.  His face kinda reminds me of Skeletor.

Uncle got him from this pet store at Ikano Power Center.  That is one shop that gives full service.  According to Uncle, they have all sorts of canggih equipment for pets.  I didn’t know that now you can dry clean your dog.  Isn’t that cool?  No more wet dog running all around the house.

They even have a vet on standby in the store who will give all the adopted animals a complete check up before their new parents take them home.

Ace comes with a microchip implant and a warranty, which I think justifies his price tag.

I don’t really agree with the whole warranty thing, though.  It makes him sound like a piece of electrical equipment.  Anyway, I don’t think any amount of money can ever replace the love and nurture that you have given to a pet.

Of course being a boy, the first thing that he did when he was put on the floor was to mark his territory.

And since he’s still a puppy, he still has his puppy scent.  I love the smell of puppies. They have that little hint of milk which I find oh so sweet and innocet.  He’s a good kisser too ;-)

Uncle has another picture of him peacefully sleeping on his back with a soft toy on his side.  I should have asked him to bluetooth that picture to me.  That one was so cute.
